About

Smart Farm of Barrington is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that is part of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. Our mission is to provide high-quality produce to our communities and those in need who are at risk of food insecurities, while being an educational resource on sustainable gardening practices, healthy eating and strategies to Live Fully. We will engage patients, community members as well as our clinicians and hospital team members. Our goal is to expand our 2-acre farm to 10-15 acres in the next 3-5 years
